Welcome To Hard Knocks University!

In order to keep up with and better understand my story, please go here.

You will then understand why I've given the title of Welcome To Hard Knocks University! to this blog-entry.  I'm going to be using it to, over a period of time, organize a series I'm doing called Challenges Ahead 101.  The first entry will be the introduction, of course, and, then, we'll just go from there...

Challenges Ahead 101 (Introduction)

Challenges Ahead 101 (Driving My Life Within The Speed Limit)

Challenges Ahead 101 (Getting Random On You)

Challenges Ahead 101 (Collars)

It's Been A Long Time Since I've Made My Last Entry, And...

...so much has changed.

At around three in the morning of September 9, 2013, I joined the ranks of the homeless.

Borrowing from both Paul McCartney and his stepmom, Angie, I can say that it's definitely been a long and winding road--a long and winding road still unfolding out in front of me.

Even now, the road still winds on and on.

On June 22 (late evening/early night), my home computer went South, so I've only been able to get online using public computers such as at the library.

Even though I find Anderson Public Library to be a really neat place and will continue to visit here, I'll still be glad when I get a laptop and can get online more often and at any hour of the day--and even while wearing nothing but my birthday suit!  LOL

This takes money--something I'm attempting to generate in various ways at this time with one of those ways being to sell some of my possessions.  There are some things of which I'm just not wanting to let go.  However, I have other things--even things I never thought I'd be selling--that need to be used to generate survival cash.

Yes, I'm definitely on a long and winding road, and I'll be sharing my adventures with you as I travel along.  For now, however, I just wanted to share this little note to let you know that I'm still standing...

I Really Should Be Stretched Out In Bed...

I should have been stretched out in bed hours ago--in fact, I was actually on my way there when I got distracted.

In a sense, it's a good thing that I got distracted instead of going to bed when I'd originally planned to.

Sure!  I know I'm long overdue for a nice, long, uninterrupted sleep (a must-have for my lymphedema), but I wasn't too fond of the way that I was originally going to sleep:  resigned and despondent.

It seemed as if more stumbling blocks had been tossed in my direction and were starting to look like a bad train-wreck about to happen.  It was as if all of the time and effort I'd spent on designing my website was just about to be swept away and I was too exhausted to stop it from happening.

Then, I found alternative routes to go that would, actually make things even better!

As soon as I get those properly implemented, I'm going to bed--but in a far more rosy state-of-mind than before...

Progress Report 3/9/13

Click here to read something I wrote for Epinions on March 9 of this year.

I believe it will give you a pretty good idea of what sorts of challenges we're facing.

It would also be helpful to go here to read about something that happened on April 19.

Things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser...

Welcome To My World...

Today is the day when I take a really big step towards going viral, and you can read about it by clicking on this hyperlink.

In the time to come, I'll be sharing more about what's going on in my life and what I'm learning along the way.

Enough said for now...
